Aeroports de Catalunya will take part in Routes Europe Cagliari 2011
Aeroports de Catalunya will take part in the 6th edition of Routes Europe, the region's annual air service development forum that will be held in Cagliari, the capital city of Sardinia, Italy.
With more than 3,000 route development meetings taking place Routes Europe offers an unrivalled platform for airlines and airports to do business face to face with the key decision makers in the industry.
The competition for air services and the economic benefits they bring has never been greater and airports are presenting their market to airlines in ever more innovative ways. And as no airline wants to unnecessarily give up a market position it has taken years to build, the dialogue between airlines and airports is extremely important and, the focus of the discussions will vary from route expansion to route performance, to future planning.
The focus of Routes Europe is on the regional, charter and low cost sectors, although larger airlines and airports will also be represented. For every airline and airport attending, it is an excellent opportunity to prepare for World Routes later in October
